In the first leg of the quarterfinals of the Champions League against Juventus, Cristiano scored one of the best goals in Champions League history of scoring a bicycle kick in style in which many has not seen in their lifetime. After the goal the whole stadium was stunned and gave a standing ovation to the player. After the match he thanked the fans of Juventus of the standing ovation, in the summer of 2018 he joins the Italian giants and mentioned how he loves the fans of what they did to him in the match.
